It's always a good day to celebrate love; however, this Valentine’s Day we have all the time in the world to watch, our favourite romance movies. So to celebrate and give you some inspiration we have chosen some of our favourite love movie moments for you to relive. 

These on-screen moments are what we are manifesting for our futures; lets get them on our vision boards and enjoy the moments that made us believe that true love was real.  

From kissing in the rain, slow dancing in the street, to plane proposals. 

These 20 romantic scenes will make you fall in LOVE with LOVE all over again.

1. LOVE ACTUALLY: “TO ME, YOU ARE PERFECT”

This moment from Love Actually is so beautiful. When Mark (Andrew Lincoln) declares his love for Juliet (Keira Knightley), his best friends wife, without having to say a word. Our hearts ache for the feeling of unrequited love. We love how bold of a statement it is.

2. BRIDGET JONES'S DIARY: “I LIKE YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE”

We love the moment When Marc Darcy (Colin Firth) first told Bridget (Renée Zellweger) his true feelings for her in Bridget Jones's Diary and said he loved her just the way she was. It just goes to show that being your authentic self is the secret to true love.

3. THE PARENT TRAP: “I MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT COMING AFTER YOU ONCE, LIZZIE. I’M NOT GOING TO DO THAT AGAIN, NO MATTER HOW BRAVE YOU ARE.

When Nick flew from California all the way to London to get Elizabeth back in The Parent Trap. Our hearts were full knowing that at last their beautiful love story had a happy ending.

4. CALL ME BY YOUR NAME“AND ON THAT EVENING WHEN WE GROW OLDER STILL WE'LL SPEAK ABOUT THESE TWO YOUNG MEN AS THOUGH THEY WERE TWO STRANGERS WE MET ON THE TRAIN AND WHOM WE ADMIRE AND WANT TO HELP ALONG.”

When Elio and Oliver spent one last night together in Rome before Oliver left for America our hearts ached for them. Their love story was so beautifully tragic.

5. THE TITANIC: JACK TEACHING ROSE TO FLY

When Jack taught Rose how to "fly" at front of the ship in Titanic, it has to be one of the most iconic moments of love in film history. Also you can’t go to wrong when it features a young Leonardo DiCaprio.

6. THE NOTEBOOK: SLOW DANCING IN THE STREET

We could have included every scene in The Notebook on this list, but the moment when Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams) walk home from their first date and dance in the middle of the street, was just so perfect, It was the ideal start to an epic romance.

7. NOTTING HILL: "I’M JUST A GIRL, STANDING IN FRONT OF A BOY, ASKING HIM TO LOVE HER".

Featuring floppy-haired Hugh Grant in his prime as William, a bookshop owner, and Julia Roberts as Anna, a glamorous Hollywood movie star. This romance hits all the right notes. Their love story is an unlikely adventure. The scene where a devastated Anna tries to reconcile with William after many ups and downs, is iconic.

8.UP: OPENING SEQUENCE

The opening sequence of Up has got to be one of the most emotional movie scenes of all time. 

This beautifully romantic montage follows the lifelong love of Carl and Ellie from youth to old age. It puts us through a rollercoaster of emotions, but it says so much about marriage and soulmates. It's extraordinarily powerful.

9. BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S: KISS IN THE RAIN 

Holly Golightly and Paul Varjak were meant to be and their kiss in the rain really speaks for itself.

10. TEN THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU: “CAN’T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU.”

There will never be a more romantic moment at a high school than Heath Ledger dancing and singing in front of the entire football squad and cheerleading team.

11. WHEN HARRY MET SALLY: CENTRAL PARK

The ultimate tale of two friends falling in love. With scenes filmed in locations such as Central Park in Autumn, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and that famous deli, it's a love letter to New York City.

12. THE HOLIDAY: NEW YEAR’S DAY

We love the ending of the Holiday when despite all their different backgrounds, experiences and living situations, both couples come together at the end to celebrate New Year's in England, it was just the ending we needed.

13. CRAZY RICH ASIANS: THE PLANE PROPOSAL

The end scene is thought of as one of the most romantic ever. Henry's character Nick pops the question to Rachel, played by Constance Wu, and the whole plane claps. This makes our hearts full everytime!

14. LOVE AND BASKETBALL: WHEN MONICA SAYS, "I'LL PLAY YOU" QUINCY REPLIES: "FOR WHAT?" THEN MONICA RESPONDS: "YOUR HEART. 

Monica and Quincy's love story always makes us need a tissue.The 2000 film starring Sanaa Lathan, who plays Monica, and Omar Epps, who plays Quincy, tells the story of the two childhood friends as they both try to balance careers in basketball and love.

15. GHOST: SAM SAYS GOODBYE

“It's amazing, Molly. The love inside, you take it with you.” This scene brings the movie full circle and confirms the everlasting union between Sam and Molly, even as they're destined to part ways. It makes us realise that love is everlasting if you find the right person.

 16. 50 FIRST DATES: “THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A FIRST KISS.”

Falling in love is hard enough without short-term memory loss, but that's exactly the situation between Hendry and Lucy. Watching Henry (Adam Sandler) cultivate a relationship with Lucy (Drew Barrymore) in spite of her memory issues will strike a chord and send you on an emotional rollercoaster.

17. MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN: YOUNG SAM AND DONNA KISS FOR THE FIRST TIME

Watching Young Donna kiss Young Sam makes literally makes us want to all do a ‘Donna’ and jet off to Greece and meet the Love of our lives. Combined with the ABBA hit soundtrack it puts you in the best mood.

18. LOVE ROSIE - HOTEL SCENE

When Rosie and Alex FINALLY kiss, it is the best ending to a Love story that we thought was never going to get it’s moment to happen.

19. LEGALLY BLONDE- ELLE’S GRADUATION SPEECH  

Watching Elle Woods spite Warner while realising her potential and worth is the real love story of this movie, however we adore Elle and Emmett together, what a power couple.

20. TANGLED- I SEE THE LIGHT 

In this beautiful scene, Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) and Flynn (Zachary Levi) share a romantic boat ride surrounded by thousands of lanterns which grants Rapunzel’s dream true. It makes us all expect that level of creativity for a first date, Flynn or should we say Eugene... set the bar high.
